The street is that the word "Audi R8 will receive a facelift in 2012.
According to the magazine, the updated car R8 will be launched sometime next year with more powerful engines. Sources indicate the 4.2 liter V8 producing 444 hp (331 kW/450 PS) and 5.2 liter V10 gets improved to 533 hp (298 kW/540 PS). Most importantly, there are rumors about transmission S-tronic seven-speed probably will replace the current R-tronic.
Styling changes will likely be minor, restyled headlamps, both expected and modest tweaks to the workers.
