Hipmunk shows air travelers flights that have Wi-Fi

By Joy Jernigan, senior travel Editor

It is now necessary to wonder whether you will have access to Twitter or Facebook during your next flight.

Hipmunk, travel app for the website and Smartphone that allows search for flight passengers, departure date or agony, on Thursday announced that the iPhone and iPad apps now shows which flights are flight Wi-Fi.

From the "hippest" flight and hotel retailer to the most impressive route juggler editor Gadgetbox Wilson Rothman and msnbc.com senior travel editor joy Jernigan discussed recent and favorite tools to guide you in running this summer.

The company in June added Wi-Fi-site in the results of a search with a caveat.  Your search results say that Wi-Fi is available in normal circumstances, but malfunction or plane swap is always possible.

Some websites of the airline also indicate whether a flight is permitted by the Wi-Fi.

The news follows the announcement Wednesday that Hipmunk is venturing into video advertising. This new spot to the end of the night air, Comedy Central is a parody of the cute animal Internet memes television series.

According to Hipmunk, "we decided that we will see what some of the most famous Internet memes will look like with people instead of adorable animals."

We will let you be the judge.
